Based in Westmount, Quebec, Veronique Semple is an acclaimed Canadian artist with a rich academic and professional background. She earned a BSc, BEd, and MEd in Art Education from McGill University, Montreal, and later spent 12 transformative years in Florence (2004–2016), immersing herself in Italian art and culture.
Veronique taught for over two decades at Centennial College (CEGEP), where she specialized in design, painting, and art history. As Director of the Creative Arts Department for the college's Creative Arts Summer School, she nurtured countless emerging talents. She also partnered with Studio Graff and the Studio 'J' Collective Gallery in Montreal and remains an active member of prestigious art societies, including the Society of Fine Arts and Circolo degli Artisti in Florence.
Her work has been featured globally, from group exhibitions in Tuscany, Spain, and Florence to personal showcases like Traversando at Casa di Dante, Florence. Highlights include her selection for the International Watercolor Biennial in Shanghai (2012) and the Royal Watercolor Society in London (2013).
